Is your tooth chipped or cracked? Do you have a busy schedule? Consider Same Day Crowns at South Charlotte Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.
A dental crown will protect your tooth from further damage and preserve your jaw’s natural alignment. We can design, fit, and place your crown in just a couple of short appointments. We also offer Same Day Crown that utilize CEREC technology. Dr. Wells can determine which type of crown is appropriate for your situation during the dental exam. Traditional dental crowns or same day crowns will be colored to match your other teeth.
CEREC Crown Technology is digital tooth repair that uses a camera, computer and milling machine, all in one instrument. After a picture is taken of the damaged tooth, this picture is transferred and displayed on a color computer screen. The CEREC Machine mills the crown material down with incredible accuracy. Dr. Well is able to design the restoration (new tooth) making an exact replacement tooth cap out of high performance polymer material. No temporary crowns, no messy molds or impressions, and practically pain free.
And it only takes about an hour! We even let you watch the design process. The new tooth crown is then cemented in and you can be on your way. No temporary crowns, no messy molds or impressions, and practically pain free.
Dr. Well’s CEREC technology creates customized restorations for each individual patient.
